The entire reason we came to Egypt
We really visited Egypt because we truly wished to see the pyramids. All the cities, Cairo, Giza, Luxor, were nice, but the Giza pyramids complex was our main wish. The tour did not disappoint! Mira was so enthusiastic, so friendly, and so knowledgeable. She made the tour a delight. She made sure my daughter was comfortable on the camel and took great photos of us. That includes my kids’ cringey ‘Egyptian walking’ pose. She even gave us a great recommendation for lunch at a local restaurant! 10/10 experience.
Very professional and rich experience
I loved that this was a private group. Because it was just my family and I, the experience was much more enjoyable. We had Fayroz to ourselves, who was always friendly and attentive to our questions. That man is a walking encyclopedia - there's nothing he didn't know. Makes sense though, since he used to work at the Egyptian museum. The pick-up was also great. It was exactly on time, and a very relaxing drive. We also got bottles of water. All in all, a very capable team.

Climbing the pyramids is strictly prohibited by Egyptian authorities, but violators are typically detained rather than prosecuted. In 2019, a local from Cairo climbed the Great Pyramid of Giza and removed part of a wooden mast. The mast was used to show visitors the pyramid’s original height. However, security soon detained him. In 2016, a 16-year-old German tourist climbed the pyramid in 8 minutes! But the worst offenders were perhaps a Danish couple in 2018. They posed for nude photos at the top of the pyramid! Both they and the German tourist were also shortly detained.
